‘Abyssal Forge’ DLC releasing for Darksiders II next week

The second downloadable content pack for Darksiders II is headed to PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 30.

Abyssal Forge, the name of the DLC, refers to "a living machine designed to harness the unfocused dark power of the Abyss and create the most powerful legendary weapons," according to the Darksiders blog. Its creator, the Mad Smith, was expelled and locked away in the swamp-like Shadow Lands with his creation. During that time, the forge has raised an army.

The DLC features two new dungeons and new enemies, loot, and puzzles. Vigil Games has increased the difficulty on this one, tailoring it toward more seasoned Darksiders II players.

The add-on costs $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.
