While PSP owners will get to enjoy another new entry into the long-running Ace Combat franchise later this month with Joint Assault, turns out the series will be getting a return to consoles with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon after a three-year absence from the Xbox 360 exclusive Fires of Liberation.
Although the game was originally trademarked back in April, the game was formally introduced today as a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title. According to the teaser posted on Gamespot, this is the rebirth of the franchise and will be a “game changer.” Details were not announced, but judging by the trailer – the new game will be epic in every sense of the word.
