Indie games are an essential part of modern gaming and to the PlayStation’s ecosystem. These are where developers can really create something fun, special and unique like the newly announced game: Tricky Towers.
The announcement from Weirdbeard Games came earlier today from the Playstation Blog. The game is a multiplayer physics-based building game in which players compete to build their tower faster and taller than their competitors. The first player to reach the finish line and last for at least 3 seconds wins.
As of now, we only know of two multiplayer modes: Race and Survivor. Race is basically what it sounds like, be the first tower to reach the finish line to win. In Survivor mode, players must build a safe, stable tower. Each time you drop tetrominoes your character will lose a life. Lose all your lives and you’re out.
In addition to the more multiplayer modes that are still unannounced, Weirdbeard Games are wrapping up the game by adding a single-player campaign. This is where players can really learn to get good at the game by practicing building solid towers and casting spells.
The Tetris-Jenga hybrid game, Tricky Towers has not received a release date yet. But Weirdbeard Games states that it will be “soon”, stick with GameZone to hear more news about the Tricky Towers.
