Activision teams with Doritos & Mountain Dew for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

Activision will team up with Mountain Dew and Doritos for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 title as fans will be given the chance to redeem codes from specially marked products, earning up to 30 minutes of Zombies Double XP.

Starting from October both Mountain Dew and Doritos will be offering a wide selection of bonus material for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, allowing for the previously mentioned Double XP and other bonus prizes.

In addition to that, Mountain Dew has announced that they will be bringing back the Mtn Dew Game Fuel Citrus Cherry product, as well as a brand new flavour Mtn Dew Game Berry Lime- for a limited period of time.

This year Call of Duty has changed the XP system in their Zombies mode. The game mode will now offer a more progressive feel, while "adding greater depth and more re-playability to the Zombies gameplay that players have come to expect."

One a side note, this news may come as a shock to players of Activision's Destiny title, with the game highly scrutinized for its recent partnership with Red Bull. This deal meant that gamers had to go out and buy Red Bull products in order to obtain unlock codes for new quests, which isn't everybody's cup of tea, so to speak.

Call of Duty are seemingly looking to do things a little differently by just offering bonus double XP and similar prizes, but we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, if you would like to read more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies click here.
