The IMDB Pro page of actor Christopher Ang suggests Ewoks could appear in Star Wars: The Force Awakens; however, there's shadows of doubt regarding the legitimacy of the rumor.
For starters, Ang's representation have already denied his involvement in the film. "He did not. And we don't know why it is on there," a representative told Making Star Wars when asked if he filmed anything for The Force Awakens.
Still, even the mention of the actor as a "green"-cowled Ewok is enough to warrant speculation among fans eagerly awaiting the movie. Ewoks in The Force Awakens have definitely been talked about among fans who appear to have mixed feelings towards the furry, teddy-bear like race of small creatures, first seen on the forest moon of Endor in Return of the Jedi.
While the actor's IMDB page raises suspicion, there are some other warning signs. For starters, at 6 feet, 180lbs, Ang isn't exactly Ewok size. It's said that he could be puppeteering an Ewok since he does have experience in stunt performing and puppeteering could require a physical actor. As Making Star Wars already pointed out, there's also nothing on Ang's personal Twitter account that even suggests he was near The Force Awakens production.
Clearly, there seems to be more evidence against Ewoks in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But then that begs the question, why does Ang's IMDB Pro page say he's an Ewok in The Force Awakens? Look, I'm okay with it — anything is better than Gungans.
