Batman used to be a fun loving guy who ran for Mayor and competed in surfing competitions against The Joker. Over the years however, he's grown to be more "mature". He's evolved into a man who goes into police interrogation rooms, locks the door, and beats the living hell out of suspects and also brands people with his logo. He's always been a bit crazy, but it seems that he's just getting more and more crazy as time goes on.
Adam West played that fun loving Batman we previously mentioned who wasn't quite as violent as Ben Affleck's Batman. West hasn't donned the cape and cowl since the '60s (although he recently returned for an animated Batman film set in the style of the '60s Batman show) and while he doesn't plan on returning to the role, he would like to show up in Ben Affleck's Batman film!
"Absolutely," said West when asked if he would like to show up somewhere in the DCEU. "You know what I'd love to do? Those guys are all wonderful talents in their own ways, and they approach the role differently, but if I could approach it in a darker way, of course, in a more serious way, however, it would be wonderful to play Bruce Wayne's father coming back. You know he was murdered, but coming back one dark and stormy lightning-riven night through a library window. Bruce Wayne is there thinking, 'I'll never solve this. This is the most difficult thing in my life.' In comes old dad, like a bat, almost."
While that would be… interesting, Jeffrey Dean Morgan already played Thomas Wayne in Batman v Superman and has expressed interest in returning as Flashpoint Batman if they ever decide to go the route of the Flashpoint storyline. Unless you continue aging in the afterlife, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for Adam West to show up as Thomas Wayne.
This doesn't mean Adam West can't show up in some other way though! How would you like Adam West to show up in The Batman? Let us known in the comments below! I think it would be funny to see him as an insane inmate in Arkham Asylum who thinks he is Batman but that's just me!
