After 18 years, unused and hidden Silent Hill monsters have been revealed

For years, Silent Hill fans have been attempting to extract the 3D models of unused enemies in Silent Hill and it looks like the breakthrough they have been looking for has been achieved. Silent Hill has an extremely complex structure for storing 3D models which has made extracting the files hard, but with help from other fans, the Silent Hill Community forum was able to reveal some things hidden in Silent Hill 1's files that were previously unknown.

Silent Hill Community user 'roocker666' helped reveal the models for unused enemies in Silent Hill after a new discovery of how the game loads items/enemies. Once this discovery was made they tried loading the unused enemies into the game and they worked!

Below, you can see the monsters that were never used in the game and have been hidden away for nearly 20 years. Above the images, you'll see the shorthand name for the monsters that were used in the files.
