Agents of SHIELD promo clip shows AIDA isn’t messing around

Agents of SHIELD returns from its mid-season break next week, and a new promo clip shows off what we have in store from our new Life Model Decoy AIDA.

At the end of the mid-season finale last year, we saw Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes get trapped in an alternate dimension with his evil uncle Eli Morrow. The ending of this season is now subtitled LMD for Life Model Decoy and stars AIDA, the cyborg created by Radcliffe. At the conclusion of the finale, we saw that AIDA had kidnapped Agent May and replaced her with a decoy of her own creation unbeknownst to the rest of SHIELD. In the clip above, Radcliffe and Fitz show up with two SHIELD agents in attempt to shut down AIDA, but of course ain't nobody got time for that.

Radcliffe's trusty remote control doesn't work, and we start to get a first hand look at the dangers of the singularity and technology surpassing humanity. There is a lot to wrap up before the end of the year, and the final episodes look great leading into it. Agents of SHIELD returns next Tuesday, January 10th at 10PM on ABC.
