Ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Google wants you to choose the Light Side or Dark Side

As the release date for Star Wars: The Force Awakens nears hype around the move has only risen gone up and with that hype Google has finally jumped on the bandwagon. Sure, Google has done a few Doodles to celebrate the series, but they have gone much deeper than that.

Google wants to define your your internet experience based on what side you lean towards, the light side or the dark side. Choosing one side over the other will affect your Google apps like Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Chrome and "many more."

Apparently, "this is just the beginning."

Between now and opening night, Google will be adding to experience… and they are teasing something about the Millennium Falcon in virtual reality for Cardboard. If you want to pick your side, head to google.com/starwars and sign into your Google account.

Oh, and Google hid a few Easter Eggs in all this too. Happy hunting.
