Aksys Games partners with Rising Star to distribute games in North America

Today Aksys formally announced its new partnership with the European-based publisher Rising Star Games. The company plans to distribute Rising Star's entire 2012 North American line-up, starting with Akai Katana.

"We believe Rising Star Games can effectively launch and expand their business in the North American territory by utilizing our in-house sales and logistic resources," said Akibo Shieh, founder and CEO of Aksys Games. "At the same time, we are very confident that our combined efforts will create a synergy and increase brand awareness for both Rising Star Games and Aksys Games.”

The "bullet hell" shooter Akai Katana is headed to Xbox 360 this spring. Other games will follow.
