We're less than a week from the launch of the Xbox One X and with anticipation building, senior director for console marketing Albert Penello thinks there's a good chance that a lot of gamers are going to find the games they want, enhanced at or near launch. On Twitter, Penello told Polygon's Arthur Gies that he believed as many as 70 different games would have some sort of upgrade within the console's first week on the market.
While not every game will get the same type of upgrade, there are a lot of big names that are readying patches as we speak including Killer Instinct, Final Fantasy XV, and even Halo: The Master Chief Collection which could finally end up being the game we were hoping for (fingers crossed). If you are an Xbox Insider, you can start pre-downloading 4K content right now to get ready for a system transfer on launch day.
This holiday season is about to get crazy.
