Alden Ehrenreich cast as Young Han Solo in Star Wars spin-off film

Well, I'm not sure how I feel about this.

While the Han Solo spin-off movie's co-director drops big teases ahead of the film's 2018 release, we have finally learned who will play young Han Solo.

It had been suggested that 26 year-old Alden Ehrenreich of Hail Caesar and Beautiful Creatures had emerged as front runner from the narrow group of the potential actors, which included Targon Egerton and Jack Reynor, due to his impressive performances.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ehrenreich has won the role of young Han Solo. The spin-off film has been detailed to focus on a 20-something year old Han Solo and how he became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel that Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi met in the cantina on Mos Eisley.

This more than likely means we will see how Solo and Chewbacca became pals.

Harrison Ford, Han Solo himself, offered some advice to whomever got the role:

"I would say, 'Talk to your director. Watch the movies. And welcome aboard. Make it your own.'"

How do you feel about this casting choice?
