Alden Ehrenreich eyed as front runner in Young Han Solo film

Disney and Lucasfilm are zeroing in on the actor to fill the large boots left by Harrison Ford in the upcoming Star Wars spinoff, which will focus on a young adult Han Solo and it now seems we have a front runner for the role.

According to Deadline, Alden Ehrenreich has emerged from the narrow group of the potential actors which included Targon Egerton and Jack Reynor due to his impressive performances.

The young Han Solo movie has been kept under very tight wraps since its announcement almost a year back. However, we do know that the movie is set to debut on May 25, 2018, and it will focus on Solo's days before he joined the rebellion. The film will be directed by the LEGO Movie team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
