Alien Spidy arrives on digital platforms this March

The 2D action-platformer Alien Spidy is coming to PC, Mac, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network this spring.

Publisher Kalypso Digital Media had previously announced the game for release last fall, but now it's scheduled for March 20. The PSN version will arrive sometime shortly after.

Alien Spidy's cartoon-styled, 2D/3D world contains 75 levels. The titular alien hero goes looking for his explorer friend Virgi but ends up crashing his own spaceship on the planet Earth. Players must survive, find Virgi, and repair the craft before they can return home.

The XBLA release will cost 800 Microsoft Points, or $10 on PC, Mac, and PSN. Spanish developer Enigma Software is making the game, which includes co-op and competitive multiplayer modes for up to four players.
