All Nippon Airways jumps on the Star Wars hypetrain with R2-D2 jet

Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) is taking their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and turning it into R2-D2. The plane will be taking off this autumn and will be limited to international routes (no trips into deep space yet).

This reveal from ANA directly coincides with the reveal of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer! ANA jumped on the hypetrain before anyone else had the chance!

The plane will read "Star Wars" in giant letters (in the traditional Star Wars font) towards the rear end of the plane and will sport an R2-D2 theme on the front end. Obviously, ANA took R2 and his jetpack and turned him into the most evolved state a jetpack equipped droid could be!

All aboard the R2 hypeplane!
