Big news World of Warcraft fans! Or more likely those who've been on the fence about returning to the game. A redditor recently noticed that the Warlords of Draenor expansion was no longer for sale on the official Battle.net page. A customer service rep from Blizzard, known as Araxom, later confirmed the redditor's finding in a response later in the thread. They said:
"Confirmed…Separate Warlords copies should no longer be available from retailers, as the registration code for the expansion can no longer be redeemed through Battle.net. If someone has an unregistered code for the Warlords of Draenor expansion, my recommendation would be to reach out to us via the options this page, and then be able to provide the registration code once you're in touch with us."
What this means is that all five previous expansions, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor have been moved into the main game.
Keep in mind, you still need to purchase the base game in order to play World of Warcraft, which retails for $19.99. That is, unless you go and see the World of Warcraft movie, in which case, the base game is free. But that does not include the subscription fee.
