All six original Mega Man games coming to mobile in Japan

Good news and bad news Mega Man fans. All six of the original Mega Man games are coming to mobile next year!

The bad news however is this is only in Japan … for now.

Famitsu is reporting each game will be sold individually on iOS and Android starting on January 6, 2017, and will include friendlier features for newcomers like auto fire, auto charge, and adjustable game speed.

Capcom will also release a Mega Man Unity app which can be used to complete certain missions in the game, allowing players to grab unique prizes like wallpapers for their phones.

As of right now the ports are for Japan only, but hopefully we'll see something similar in the States as Capcom recently created a mobile sector and announced it wants to reinvigorate its brand by bringing back dormant franchises and IPs.

Not only that, they’re coming off a well received Mega Man Legacy Collection that recently hit consoles.
