All Signs Point to Mega Man Legends 3

Ah, yes. Internet rumors, my favorite pastime. Three-fourths bull, one-fourth factual. However, when an unconfirmed source has been right before, you’ve got to pay attention. According to Protodude’s Rockman Corner, a self-proclaimed inside source has stated that Capcom is currently developing Mega Man Legends 3. His repertoire? He leaked several correct information regarding Mega Man 9 details prior to the game’s release.

Fresh off of San Diego Comic-Con where Hideki Kamiya responded with a grin when fans clamored about Mega Man Legends 3, Protodude’s source “the Shadow” has stated that the project is very tight-lipped and that he cannot reveal any more details at this time. More interesting, however, is the fact that he couldn’t confirm whether or not the title would carry the Mega Man Legends banner despite the fact that it is the game’s formal sequel. As with all internet rumors, it’s best to take this with one eye open and one eye closed. However, given the fact that Tron Boone is confirmed to be in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, all signs point to an eventual series revival.
