Well, it's not Half-Life 3, but I suppose it's the next best thing. A newly leaked document, thanks to our friend CBOAT, has surfaced on NeoGAF featuring what appears to be a Left 4 Dead 2 map rebuilt in the Source 2.0 engine.
The photos appear to be part of a PowerPoint labeled "l4d3? (Source 2 Reveal)" and show what appears to be the Plantation map finale from Left 4 Dead 2 "Rebuilt in Source 2.0 with increased level of detail." Source 2.0 Engine was first leaked as the part of a Change log captured during a visit to Valve's offices back in August 2013; it's rumored to power the potential Left 4 Dead sequel.
This simple image is far from concrete evidence of Left 4 Dead 3 or Source 2.0, but it's worth noting that Valve co-founder Gabe Newell said back in 2012 that the company was working on "new engine stuff for a while." As always, treat this as nothing more than a very intriguing rumor from a somewhat reliable source.
