Today Crescent Moon announced that it's publishing Almightree, a 3D puzzle-platformer inspired by The Legend of Zelda, later this fall on the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon.
Chocoarts, which has made titles such as Flow the Cloud and Keto Fantasy for iOS and the Nokia Store, respectively is developing the game. One hero must save a world that's literally falling apart by reviving the Almightree that sustains the land. Players avoid traps and enemies, move blocks and plants, and solve puzzles by using "plantsportation," which Crescent Moon described as like teleporting for plants.
I can see a little Zelda in the trailer (some of the plants look like Deku), but otherwise I'm not getting a huge Zelda vibe. I am curious, though. The style looks good, and the artwork reminds me of the green forest world of Zelda if it met the chaos of Mario.
