The fourth installment in the Alone in the Dark series is dropping on the PlayStation Network this week as a PSone Classic.
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare came to PlayStation first in 2001. Releases for the Game Boy Color, PC, and Dreamcast followed that same year.
Darkworks (Cold Fear) developed the game, which follows supernatural detective Edward Carnby and archeologist Aline Cedrac as they venture to Shadow Island to find three tablets before they awaken an ancient evil. Players switch between the two characters at set points.
Also new in the Classics section are the PlayStation 2 titles Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain.
