Amazon launches Countdown to Black Friday 2016 event; Followed by week long Cyber Monday

Dell has already shared their Black Friday 2016 plans and now it's time for Amazon to one up everyone with their nearly two-month-long Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2016 event.

Starting today, Amazon will be kicking off their 'Countdown to Black Friday Deals' which is basically the new hub for Lightning Deals. Every few hours or minutes a new Lightning Deals will be put on display, covering a number of departments (including gaming).

Following the countdown, the official Black Friday deals will kick off and last for a week. Once Black Friday is done on the following Monday, December 2, the Cyber Monday 2016 deals will kick off. Those deals will last for yet another week.

All in all, Amazon plans on making their deals last until sometime around December 22nd.
