Amazon launches Uber-like service for Prime packages

Forget Uber, taxiing people around can be messy – especially if they are drunk. Amazon has created a much cleaner way of driving around and making money and guess what, there won't be any talking back from what you'll be toting around — no uncomfortable small talk either!

Starting Tuesday in the city of Amazon will begin paying people anywhere from 18$ to 25$ per hour to deliver Amazon Prime Now packages, all from the luxury of their own car. The trial will begin in Seattle, the home base for Amazon, and will spread across major markets, including: New York, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Baltimore, Austin, Indianapolis, Portland, and Atlanta.

What do you need to be a driver? Potential drivers must own cars, have valid drivers' licenses, be over the age of 21, pass a background check, and own an Android smartphone. The program will work around your availability, you can choose to work 2, 4 or 8 hours at a time and in the future you could even work up to 12 hours. This seems like an awesome way to earn money on the weekends!
