Amazon offering free $100 gift card for Oculus Rift purchases

If you’re in the market for an Oculus Rift VR headset – and you happen to be an avid Amazon shopper – then today is your lucky day.

Amazon is currently offering a free $100 Amazon gift card for customers who buy an Oculus VR headset. The only catch is the deal expires today – so you need to act fast if you want one.

Currently, the Oculus Rift is fetching for $599, and the extra $100 can be put to good use like purchasing VR games or grabbing the new Oculus Touch controllers.

Oculus released back in March to much fanfare and is hoping to win the VR headset wars against competitors HTC Vive and Sony’s PlayStation VR.

While Oculus is reportedly being outsold by PSVR in the UK, gamers have some reason to back Oculus as Microsoft recently announced that you can stream every Xbox One game on the VR headset.
