Amazon offers $20 gift card with Final Fantasy XIII-2 purchase

We often report about deals on video games around the net here at GameZone, and it always seems as if Amazon is the No. 1 hub for these kinds of deals. Wouldn't you know it, once again, Amazon.com is offering a recent release with a great promotion. The online retail store is offering Final Fantasy XIII-2 for $59.99 with a $20 gift card and a mini strategy guide as well. (Not that you need the guide: Our Final Fantasy XIII-2 walkthrough will be updated daily and should be your first stop for help when a dreaded Bahumet is annihiliating you.)

If you haven't picked up the latest Final Fantasy adventure yet, Amazon should be first on your list. Whether you pick up a copy of Final Fantasy XIII-2 on PS3 or Xbox 360, you will receive a $20 gift card that you can use on "anything shipped and sold by amazon.com." Considering, pre-order deals are obviously out the window now, this may be your best bet if you are planning on picking up the Final Fantasy sequel.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set three years after the end of Final Fantasy XIII taking Serah on a journey through time and space to find her sister, Lightning. A complete overhaul of the first one was needed when mixed reviews held the Final Fantasy series back. With new elements of gameplay, new characters and time travel, Final Fantasy XIII-2 looks to redeem the series from its predecessor.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 was released yesterday (Jan. 31) for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
