AMC Theatres Hosting Uncharted 3 “Play it First in 3D” Event

If you’re looking for somewhere to take that special girl, you might want to think about AMC Theatres. Not only will you be treating her to a lovely date, but you can get early access to the complete Uncharted 3 game. The best of both worlds!

From October 18 through the 20th, the movie chain will be hosting an Uncharted 3 “Play it First in 3D” event. Participating AMC theaters will offer “an inside look from the development team at Naughty Dog,” a multiplayer tournament show on the big screen in 3D, which includes raffles, prizes, and giveaways.

“General Admission” tickets to the event will cost $25. But if you opt in for the “Insider Access”, for $60, you’ll not only get entry into the event, but you’ll get a copy of Uncharted 3 before it releases. All “Insiders” will have a copy of the game shipped to their homes on October 25th via FedEx, giving you a full one week head start over everyone else.

Unfortunately, only five locations are participating in the promotion.

The participating theaters include:

• San Francisco: AMC Metreon 16
• Los Angeles: AMC Century City 15
• Washington D.C.: AMC Tyson’s Corner 16
• New York City: AMC Lincoln Square 13
• Dallas: AMC Northpark 15

For those of you unable to attend this event, you can wait for the official Uncharted 3 release on November 1st.
