Amnesia creators show off new footage and release date for horror game SOMA

SOMA, the new first-person horror title from Amnesia creators Frictional Games, has a release date and a new trailer revealed at E3's PC Gaming Press Conference.

Programmer Ian Thomas came out on stage and said SOMA is a new horror game set deep under the sea (No word if Repture's Big Daddy's will appear…crossing fingers). The game looks absolutely spooky as hell, feeling like "The Abyss" meets "Dead Space."

It's been a while since we last saw SOMA, but it's shaping up to be a must-play, especially if it can pull the same kind of scares Amnesia did.

SOMA releases on PS4 and PC September 22nd, 2015.
