Among the Sleep hits Kickstarter goal

It looks like Krillbite Studio's decision to release a demo for its Kickstarter project, Among the Sleep, has paid off — literally, as the company achieved its goal of obtaining $200,000 in pledges on the crowdfunding website. And there's still three days to go, so we could see some of the game's stretch goals come to fruition.

The public alpha build of the game was released yesterday to give potential investors a chance to go hands-on with the game. It seems to have helped as Among the Sleep surpassed the $20,000 it needed to achieve its goal.

For those unfamiliar, Among the Sleep puts you in the role of a two-year old vulnerable to nightmares. After a traumatic night, you enter a surreal world filled with terrifying objects, and must search for a way home. Sound terrifying enough? You can check out a brief teaser or play the alpha demo to see for yourself!
