Fans of English composer impresario of musical theatre, Andrew Lloyd Webber, will be happy to know a new game has been announced that brings his hit songs to the Wii for everyone to ruin.
Published by Tubby Games and distributed by Koch Media, Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals: Sing & Dance allow fans to, as the title suggests, sing and dance to their favorite Webber songs.
"Fans of hit musicals such as 'The Phantom of the Opera', ‘Sunset Boulevard’, 'Evita', 'Cats', 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar' will now be able to put themselves center stage with this new game," a description of the game reads.
Songs include legendary hits like ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’, ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, 'Memory', and 'Any Dream Will Do'. In addition, in-game performances feature award-winning recording artists like Elaine Page, Michael Crawford, Donny Osmond, and Sarah Brightman as they perform alongside of you.
In the game you can choose to take on "Dance", "Sing", or "Career" modes. You can perform alongside up to three others in multiplayer mode or perform alone if you prefer the Diva lifestyle.
“This is a fabulous signing for us,“ said Paul Nicholls, Sales & Marketing Director at Koch Media, who is distributing the game, “Andrew Lloyd Webber and his creations are a British institution that have been enjoyed by generations across the world. The chance to bring this product to market for the Nintendo Wii is both an honor and hugely exciting.”
Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals: Sing & Dance will feature 32 classic songs from 13 musicals. It will be available exclusively on Nintendo Wii on September 14.
