Andrew McCutchen wins MLB 13 The Show cover vote

Pittsburgh Pirates fans finally have something to celebrate. The team's Gold Glove outfielder, Andrew McCutchen, has won the cover vote showdownand will now appear on the cover of MLB 13 The Show.

At 108,148 votes, McCutchen placed first among the seven eligible candidates. The second closest was New York Yankees ace pitcher CC Sabathia with 89,056 votes.

McCutchen winning the cover spot may not snap the Pittsburgh Pirates streak of 20 consecutive losing season, but it's definitely a start! Below is the full breakdown of fan voting.

  4. Matt Kemp (Los Angeles Dodgers) – 72,467

  7. Ryan Braun (Milwaukee Brewers) – 13,153
