Angela Bassett has been cast as T'Challa's mother in the upcoming Marvel Studios film, 'Black Panther'.
The upcoming Black Panther movie has a lot of fans and newcomers alike wondering what's in store for the superhero epic. Boasting a full cast of talented actors, it seems that 'American Horror Story's Angela Bassett has made her way into the project as Ramonda, aka Black Panther's mother.
We were both introduced and departed by T'Challa's father, King T'Chaka (played by Joh Kani), in this year's Captain America: Civil War. With a nation in need of both a leader and a protector, T'Challa's story should prove to be much more personal. Bassett has proven herself time and again to be a talented and charismatic actress and now she'll get to put that to the ultimate test in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the mother and guiding hand to her son and the new king.
