In less than three days, Rovio's Angry Birds Space topped 10 million downloads.
The studio shared the successful numbers via the official Angry Birds Twitter.
"10 million Angry Birds Space downloads in less than 3 days! Thanks to our fans, stay tuned for more! #angrybirdsspace"
The company didn't reveal how many of those were paid vs free downloads. There is a free, ad-supported version of Angry Birds Space available on Google's Android platform.
Either way, I think it's safe to assume that Rovio's high-flying Angry Birds sequel has been a success.
Rovio has mentioned that regular free updates for Angry Birds Space are planned, but didn't specify what or when they will be released. As for now, fans can enjoy 60 interstellar levels, new birds with unique superpowers, and "many hidden goodies, secret levels, and cool space content."
Angry Birds Space is currently available for iOS and Android devices, Mac and PC, with potential plans to bring the game to Windows Phones.
