Animals reacting to Monster Hunter World’s Palico are adorable and hilarious

The latest iteration in the Monster Hunter franchise released last week and has been seeing incredibly positive reviews since then. Monster Hunter World seems to be a hit with more than just humans though, it has become a magnet for cats and dogs too.

Monster Hunter: World allows players to create their own characters through a customization panel, as well as customize the in-game combat assistants called Palicoes (. Players only get one Palico which can be outfitted with a number of items and act as helpers in the game.

Palicoes look like cats and sound like them too. The meows of Palico have made plenty of animals extremely confused in an adorable and sometimes hilarious way. Cats want to know where the mystery cat is that is making these sounds and dogs are either confused or upset over the existence of Palico.

Thanks to the internet, we are able to witness the distress over Palico firsthand.

Overall, it’s pretty great and a widespread phenomenon.
