Oh to be a kid in the 90’s. Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Pinky and the Brain, hell even Pinky, Elmyra, and the Brain are shows forever etched in our memory. It seems as though Hulu will be capitalizing on our nostalgia once again as the Animaniacs will be getting an all-new series that will stream exclusively on the service.
A piece of concept art released by Warner Bros. also revealed that Pinky and the Brain would be a part of the new series. Check it out:
Obviously, the big question surrounding this news is “when can we see it?”
Unfortunately, it’s going to be a bit of a wait as episodes aren’t expected to release until 2020. Hulu does, however, have something to hold us over until then, as they have acquired and released every episode of Pinky & the Brain, Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain, and Tiny Toon Adventures, which are available to watch right now.
It also appears as though that at least Maurice LaMarche, the original voice of Brain, will be returning to the show, as he sent out a tweet earlier today announcing the show’s revival.
Guess I can talk about this now…. https://t.co/tvGTyV2tRR

Steven Spielberg will also be returning to the show as an Executive Producer, the same role which he held in the original series. “I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu,” said Spielberg in an official statement. “Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.”
In all likelihood, if anything was even remotely popular at one time or another, it will get a shot at coming back. Even still, it’s exciting to look forward to being able to revive our childhoods yet again.
