Anna Kendrick recently stated that she'd be willing to play Marvel character, Squirrel Girl, if she ever made her way into a movie.
In a recent interview with Net-A-Porter, actress, Anna Kendrick, dished on some of her recent projects, including the upcoming release of 'Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates'. On the topic of her 'The Voices' co-star, Ryan Reynolds, Kendrick was asked if she too would be willing to follow in Reynolds footsteps and don some Marvel spandex in a future film project. Apparently, the subject has come up before and she had this to say:
“My brother sent me a Squirrel Girl comic because he thinks I should [play her]. Idon’t know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel!”
If you're unfamiliar with Squirrel Girl, she's a mutant named Doreen Green who is usually associated with a long, bushy squirrel tail. With the ability to communicate with and command a loyal army of squirrels, she once used them to take down the villainous tyrant, Doctor Doom. Along with her enhanced strength, agility, and reflexes she has been a loyal and valuable member of the Avengers.
