Another Minecraft milestone: PC version breaks 10 million

Minecraft developer Mojang has announced via Twitter that the PC version of the sandbox game has now sold 10 million copies.

That number includes sales of the Mac and Linux versions, according to Markus "Notch" Persson.

PC sales totaled 9 million mere months ago, back in January. That comprised about half of total sales, or 20 million across PCs, Xbox 360, iOS, and Android.

Just last week, the Xbox 360 version pushed 6 million copies, which is also an increase of 1 million from the end of 2012.
