Making good on their promise to update fans more frequently on the status of amiibo shipments, Nintendo announced today that Marth, Meta Knight, and a few other of the limited amiibo figures will be hitting store shelves soon.
"Heads up! Marth and a few other amiibo like Meta Knight and Ike will be hitting shelves in limited quantities over the next few days," Nintendo announced, urging fans to visit their local retail stores for more information on timing and availability.
Earlier this month during Nintendo's investor call, the company admitted that consumer demand may continue to outpace supply levels for certain characters, but vowed to "do our best to prevent that from happening."
They promised to bring back some of the currently out-of-stock amiibo figures, and it looks like this will be the first of what's hopefully more to come. One amiibo that will surely sell out immediately is the newly announced Mario Silver Edition, which will be available in stores on May 29th.
