Are CBS and CW gearing up for a Flash, Arrow and Supergirl crossover?

We are getting a Justice League movie in 2017. While fans of the CW TV show Arrow would would like to see Stephen Amell play the Green Arrow in film, we all know it's not going to happen. But that doesn't mean we can't put together a mini-Justice League on television. I mean, we already have The Flash and Arrow on CW, and CBS is bringing Supergirl to television in 2015.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that had Arrow's Marc Guggenheim and Agent Carter's showrunners Tara Butter and Michele Fazekas all interviewing each other, there was some talk of a crossover between the CW and CBS DC heroes shows. Here's the snippet from the interview:

Fazekas: Marc, CBS is doing Supergirl. What is the possibility of a crossover?
Guggenheim: It's possible.
THR: I actually heard it's in Greg's deal, that Supergirl can cross over with Flash and/or Arrow.

CBS is a co-owner of The CW with Warner Bros., so it's not out of the realm of possibility. It would be pretty awesome to see three shows combine to do crossover episodes and storylines.

The conversation then continued to how many members of the Justice League Guggenheim would like to get on Arrow, to which he responded, "At the end of the day it'd be so awesome to have Batman on the show. That'd be really cool. I don't think that will be happening anytime soon, but you never know… one day.

"We never expected to have had the Huntress, Deathstroke or Deadshot; we ended up with a lot more DC Comics characters becoming part of the show than we have ever planned. It wasn't initially part of the pitch or the conception of the show. Now here we are in our third season and we've Flash and the Suicide Squad and we're going to have Katana and we have Ray Palmer, and it seems like you could field an entire show off the characters that we have introduced on Arrow. That's so beyond anything we expected."

Now I want Batman to make an appearance in the final episode of Arrow.
