As you're probably aware by now, The Iron Banner will begin in Destiny tomorrow. The new PvP-centric event will introduce a new playlist in the Crucible that removes the automatic balancing currently in place. Basically, your gear will now mean something when you're PvPing.
In return for your participation in The Iron Banner, you will be rewarded with Legendary Iron Banner Gear, Iron Banner Emblems, Shaders, and Ships. Unfortunately, it's likely that we won't know what they are for certain until the event begins tomorrow — after the scheduled maintenance, that is.
Thanks to Destiny's beta, though, we at least have an idea of what some of the rewards could be. Reddit user GodzXPro has posted some of the rewards that were previously offered through the Iron Banner back in beta. There's also some more items added to the list from the Destiny wiki. Though it's likely some of these items and their stats have changed since then, it at least gives us an rough idea in terms of what to expect for our hard work.
