Today I saw the BioShock Infinite Sky-Hook replica by NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association), and my life may never be the same. The replica of the Sky-Hook from the upcoming BioShock Infinite is a life size 1:1 prop modeled to be exactly how the Sky-Hook would look in the real-world. And guess what? It works! Well, kind of — it has motorized action that causes the gears and three hooks to spin when you squeeze the trigger. Just don't try to actually jump onto and slide down rails.
The Sky-Hook replica is now available for order through GameStop for the price of $79.99. Don't expect to be able to walk into your local GameStop and buy one, though, as the replica is only available online. Also, while you're able to buy it, the release date is scheduled for 2/26/13.
