Are you ready for some football? How about on Xbox One?

The official NFL season kicks off today with a rematch between the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens. So what better way for Microsoft to celebrate than to release a spot that highlights the Xbox One's ability to revolutionize the way you ingest football?

While the brief 30-second trailer doesn't get into the fine details of football on the Xbox One, it does give an overall sense for what you can expect — highlights, fantasy updates, Skyping while watching the game, and things of that nature. As a football fan pre-ordering the PS4 at launch, this commercial makes me extremely jealous. Although it's just as easy for me to check my fantasy football on my tablet and brag to a friend on phone, the idea of doing it all through an Xbox One is really intriguing.

Check out the video below and get ready for some football.
