Ark: Survival Evolved is coming to consoles very soon. The full release on consoles also marks the game leaving Early Access on Steam and into full release. With full release slated for August 8, Studio Wildcard has shared some news regarding servers and the new Ragnarok content.
In a press release, Studio Wildcard again confirms that there will be no server wipe while transitioning to full release. However, they will be adding new servers that will run new code to eliminate the current bouts of cheating on existing servers.
Ragnarok will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 simultaneously with full release. It features a massive map, free of charge, that features a griffon and a new environment. PC players who currently have Ragnarok can expect a substantial update as well with new areas and bug fixes.
In addition to the previously mentioned updated servers, Wildcard is also adding the option to support private, rentable servers for both Xbox One and PS4 users. Private servers on a console will make a shared server with friends more easily accessible. According to Wildcard, these servers will be available for a very affordable price, although said price has not been announced. Again, the game launches on console and full release on August 8 and can be found here.
Below is a list of features available on these rentable servers from hosting company Nitrado:
