ARK: Survival Evolved Xbox One release is “Imminent”

Dino-taming coming soon!

Studio Wildcard has revealed that they have been working on a number of improvements for ARK: Survival Evolved on PC as well as finishing up their release for the Xbox One.

In a SteamCommunity post, the studio answered some fans questions and began the post with the following statement

“Hey Survivors!

Sorry about the delay in getting this Digest out – we’ve been incredibly occupied lately with preparing this week’s content update, as well as preparing for our imminent release of “ARK: Survival Evolved” on the Xbox One!”

The post was made by Jat of Studio Wildcard where they discussed some new dinosaurs coming to the game as well as improvements being made to structures and inventory balancing modifications. An underwater exploration cave full of Yetis is coming as well.

ARK: Survival Evolved let's you control and tame dinosaurs after waking up on an island marked with some sort of tracking device. The island, named ARK, has a number of other players on it as well which you must decide whether they are friendly or foes attempting to kill you for your inventory. Taming dinosaurs is the best way to ensure survival on ARK and it's a race to see who can get the biggest, baddest dino first.

With a remark such as "Imminent" the game should be released this week, especially as the post was dated yesterday, November 18th. With most games releasing on Tuesday, the latest we should see is this coming week the 24th. We've reached out to both Microsoft and Studio Wildcard to get a more specific date.
