Arnold Schwarzenegger “didn’t like” the role he was offered for Predator; Won’t be in it

It wasn't big enough for him.

Back in February, one of the stars of the upcoming Predator film made it clear that we shouldn't be expecting Arnold Schwarzenegger to make an appearance in the film. According to the star, it would be too much of a "gimmick" if Schwarzenegger made an appearance.

Schwarzenegger has revealed the real reason he won't be in the film – it's because he didn't like the role he was offered, it's that simple.

"They asked me, and I read it, and I didn't like it–whatever they offered," Schwarzenegger said to Yahoo. "So I'm not going to do that, no. Except if there's a chance that they rewrite it, or make it a more significant role."

The role was too small for Schwarzenegger to even waste his time with the film. Hopefully, they just use his voice screaming "get to the choppa" somewhere in the background.

The cast for the new Predator have been revealed in a series of photos, one partial cast shot here and another here. Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Keegan-Michael Key (Keanu, Key & Peele), Sterling K. Brown (The People v. OJ Simpson), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), and 10-year-old Jacob Tremblay (Room).

The Predator is set to release in 2018.
