After removing Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear, The BBC is feeling the pressure to be loved again. That might be why they called in one of the few people that will make us resentingly love them again, Maisie Williams.
Maisie Williams is more than just Arya Stark in Game of Thrones; she's a yet-to-be-revealed character in Doctor Who too! That's right folks, Williams is headed straight for the TARDIS. Williams' role hasn't been revealed yet, but it appears as though she will be a fiesty character who will "challenge the Doctor."
We're thrilled to have Maisie Williams joining us on Doctor Who. It's not possible to say too much about who or what she's playing, but she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. The ninth series of Doctor Who is currently filming and will be returning later this year. Whether or not Williams will be a returning character has not been revealed — we can only hope though.
