Assassin’s Creed 3 trailer details multiplayer details

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed 3, giving us a deeper looking to the unique locales, different characters, multiple abilities and perks, and various modes of the robust multiplayer mode.

Whether it be the simplistic Deathmatch, the co-op Wolf Pack, or the team-based domination mode, you'll likely need to utilize each of the available abilities and perks. Featuring a variety of maps, the multiplayer battle can take you anywhere from the streets of Boston Harbor to the harsh conditions of the Northwest Passage.

To begin multiplayer, you'll first have to choose a personal soldier from the 16 characters available — each with their own weaponry and customization options. Next you can choose from 14 unique abilities like "Glimmer" which turns your nearly invisible, allowing you to sneak up on enemies. In addition, you'll also be able to choose from 10 distinct perks that last for the entire match duration. Some examples include the Blender perk which morphs one civilian in your area into your look alike, and the Unstoppable perk which lets you easily run through crowds without fail.

Although many fans may be buying this game for its new protagonist and American Revolution time period, it looks like Ubisoft has put in a good amount of time and effort into the multiplayer portion of the game.
