Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag stealth gameplay shown off in new walkthrough

Ubisoft has released a video for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag in which game director Ashraf Ismail walks us through some of the game's stealth mechanic. In doing so, Ismail also points out the environmental detail and gameplay mechanics that have been made possible only with the leap to next-gen.

The walkthrough shows off multiple gameplay aspects including underwater elements and Edward Kenway's stealth ability as he stalks his next target through Havana. To provide some context, Edward is pursuing an arms dealing Templar, but on his way he stops to explore an underwater cave. Unable to bring his weapons or tools, he must use stealth to accomplish his mission.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is due out for Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation 3 on October 29, with the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions coming at a currently-unannounced date.
