Assassin’s Creed 4 ‘Freedom Cry’ DLC release date revealed

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag's upcoming single player story DLC, Freedom Cry, will be released on December 17, according to an ad spotted in the latest Game Informer.

The Freedom Cry DLC was first revealed in October and will put players in the boots of Adéwalé, a former slave who is now second-in-command for the game's main story protagonist Captain Edward Kenway. The expansion is set 15 years after the events of the main campaign and spans nine missions totaling more than four hours of content.

The advertisement features logos for PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, but there is no mention of Wii U or PC. There is also no mention of price, though the DLC is included as part of the Assassin's Creed 4 Season Pass.
