Assassin’s Creed Creator reveals new game

Fired from Ubisoft, Patrice Désilets created his own studio and game

Two years ago, Patrice Désilets, the creator of of Assassin's Creed was fired by Ubisoft. A press statement from Ubisoft at the time said that Désilets termination was the result of "inconclusive" discussions on what their visions were.

Upon his departure, Désilets revealed that he was suing Ubisoft for the rights to the last project he was working on, 1666: Amsterdam.

Désilets hasn't been sitting around twiddling his thumbs for the last two years. In that time he has opened up a studio and has been hard at work on an episodic game titled, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. The game is described as a "third person action-adventure survival episodic game," by Panache's official site. Each episode of the game will take players through the "greatest moments of mankind."

If you watch the video all the way to the end you will notice a small typo in the game's title.
