Despite Ubisoft's strict "no photography, no filming" policy with Assassin's Creed III at PAX East this weekend, some sneaky individuals still managed to snag a few images of the in-game action.
You will particularly notice the abundance of NPCs on the field of battle, just one of Ubisoft's improvements with Assassin's Creed III. A new game engine has allowed the developers to display up to 2,500 characters on-screen at once to create an authentic Revolutionary War battle.
You can also see, although it's not as crisp as the video shown, the new animations of Connor as Ubisoft went for all-new natural motions when sneaking around the environment either by foot or by tree.
While the images do show off some of the new features in Assassin's Creed III, they hardly do the game justice. In the preview I had of the game, it looked crisp and fluid. But at least these can give you an idea of just how massive the battlefield's will be in Assassin's Creed III.
